Gradiente Phantom System was the first NES clone launched in Brazil 1988. Since the company was seeing a growth videogame marketing on this new technology and Nintendo was not interesting in sell their console in Brazil they simply develop this console using the body shape from the Atari 7800, the game pad from Mega Drive and the Master System light gun.
The console is compactible with the US standard 72 pinout cartridge but was create an adaptor to convert to Japan Standard 60 pinout cartridge.
The Console was launched with those games Ghostbusters, Super Pitfall, Gauntlet or Schwarzenegger´s Predator.
In reality, Gradiente was interesting to bring the Atari 7800 at first, but since the situation with Atari in US was critical and the games from Atari was loosing customer, so the company simply change their commercial strategy, smart move by the way.
