In Eastern Europe, the first Master Systems appeared in 1988 in Czechoslovakia via independent retail outlets. In Yugoslavia and the USSR (exactly in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic) console was released in 1990. After the fall of communism and end of CoCom console was distributed in other countries.
