In the United Kingdom the system launched on 2nd April 1993, selling for a pricy £269.99. In the UK, Sega Classics Arcade Collection and Sol-Feace/Cobra Command were included as pack-ins. Italy which launched around the same period, did not include Sega Classics Arcade Collection. The console was delayed on purpose for similar reasons to the US – fears that it should ship without a decent supply of quality software.
