The Design of the Mega Drive III shell is basically the same as the Sega Genesis 2/MegaDrive 2 System. The plastic quality of the case is a bit hard to explain, is definitely cheaper than a Sega Genesis model 2 system, but much better than any other now a days Sega clone system, including the GEN-X, GN-TWIN and others. The system itself has a built-in power cord, but other revisions have a power port for a power supply just like the Sega Genesis model 2 or Mega Drive 2 do…This Mega Drive III is 110V/220V 50/60Hz Automatic switch compatible and has Type C prongs (European 2 round pin power plug connector). The bottom side has the system specs as well as the “Produced by and under License of Sega Enterprises Ltd Japan” label.
